Ekayāna: Being Dharma Training

A year-long program beginning Saturday, January 17th, 2026 (registration ongoing)

Ekayāna: Being Dharma, a yearlong, self-paced, online journey of study and practice offered through Sacred Mountain Sangha. This transformative course is grounded in a unique synthesis of Theravāda (Thai Forest), Mahāyāna (Chinese Pure Land & Chan/Zen), and engaged Dharma traditions.

The training is structured around six “baskets” of transmission, offered over four modules.

  • This course, taught by Kittisaro & Thanissara, offers 36 lessons over three core modules and an additional new 6-lesson Sacred Activism module.

  • Kittisaro & Thanissara, alongside SMS teachers and practice leaders, will be there to support you at two bi-monthly sessions online. One will be a group check-in and Q&A session with an SMS teacher, and the second will be a practice session and sangha reflection space guided by a practice leader.

  • The course can be taken at your own pace, with each lesson designed for about 2–3 hours of engagement per week.

  • Drawing on decades of combined Dharma practice, the course aims to focus less on academic study and more on embodied realization in the spirit of Ajahn Chah’s teaching: “Read the book of the heart.”

  • You will have access to all course material via Mighty Networks, with the ability to download talks and written materials to support your learning.

  • Sessions will be recorded and shared with registered participants.

  • This offering is shared on a tiered-based contribution scale from $350 to $1,200 to support some compensation to teachers and SMS’s operational costs. There will be an opportunity to give dana and additional support to the teachers at the end of the offering. No one will be turned away due to a lack of funds.
