Andreas (he/him) identifies as a queer mixed-race person of color. Andreas was born and raised in Southern California to two immigrant parents, and has lived, worked, and studied within the frameworks of multi-cultural landscapes. Andreas has lived, worked and traveled extensively internationally throughout his life, with a professional background working with grassroots nonprofits, NGOs, International Development, community organizing, and in education (most recently as an adjunct professor). He holds a Masters Degree in Social Enterprise from American University's School of International Service. Since 2010, Andreas has been deeply committed and devoted in the traditions of Theravada Buddhism, Bhakti and the Vedic Traditions. Andreas has programmed for and ran meditation/dharma centers, and believes deeply in 'walking the talk' particularly within liberatory spaces. He is deeply committed to ethics, morals and generosity of integrating practice and action, and in co-creating profound and safe spaces where we can wholeheartedly deepen places of belonging, inclusivity, generosity and practice.
